Delivery policy
A purchase is only valid once payment has been made and The Really Green Grocer receives proof of payment.
While every effort is made to process and dispatch orders as soon as possible, we cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries caused by suppliers or by any delays caused by any of our delivery agents.
Orders in stock will be shipped within 3 working days. Goods not in stock will be shipped within 7 working days unless otherwise notified.
All orders are dispatched via door-to-door courier service, the South African Post Office, or international airmail.
Late delivery is not grounds for a return or a refund.
The signature of any person at the delivery address will constitute proof of delivery; The Really Green Grocer does not have to prove that you personally received the goods. If the courier makes a delivery and the customer, or any other person who can sign acceptance for the delivery, is not available at the address, resulting in the shipment being returned to The Really Green Grocer, the customer will be liable for shipping costs due to non delivery.
Return and refunds policy Delivery is subject to availability. In the case of unavailability of goods, the customer will be refunded in full within 30 days.
Once the customer has made a payment, the order can only be cancelled within 24 hours of The Really Green Grocer receiving the payment or before the order has been dispatched, whichever comes first. A cancellation of a paid order is subject to a 10% administration fee to cover bank charges and other refund costs.
Damaged products must be reported to The Really Green Grocer within 24 hours of receipt. We will make arrangements for the damaged product to be returned to us and send a replacement product to you on our account. Alternatively, we may refund you in full for the damaged product.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with a product purchased from The Really Green Grocer, contact us within 7 days of receipt with the reason for your dissatisfaction. Shipping costs for the return will be for your account. If the returned product is in its original sealed state, we will refund you the value of the product. If you have opened and/or used the product and are not satisfied, we will inform the supplier of the product on your behalf. Any restitution is at the discretion of the supplier and The Really Green Grocer will not be held responsible in any way.

Payment options All transactions will be processed in South African Rand (ZAR). We accept credit card payments via the website and on request will supply our banking details should you wish to make payment via EFT or Direct Deposit.
